Tina likes to see ” Reclaiming Our Mental Health” as taking charge of our mental wellbeing. Mental health can really take over your life and it can affect you in so many different ways. It can cause you to avoid certain situations; work, social gatherings, school, etc.
Reclaiming your mental health can be a challenge – an awarding challenge! You don’t need to wait until you feel better to reclaim it. Start small. What makes you feel unhappy, anxious, or even triggers your mental health? Can you make a small change that can help you avoid a trigger?
Reclaiming your mental health can be a gradual process. Just remember to try to do something positive that you enjoy or even start something new. Yoga, cooking, writing, drawing – whatever makes you feel good about yourself.
