Roasted seasonal Veggies with digestives spices & Garden Herbs
Raw vegetables can be difficult to digest for some people, especially if your digestive system is fatigued and not working too well, bloating is an indication of this. Cooking our vegetables (even slightly) is like giving our digestion a helping hand
This is a great accompaniment and a great base for a main meal. Simply add your choice of protein; chicken, pork, steak, lentils, beans, etc.
Shopping List
Couple of sprigs of Fresh Rosemary (you can use half teaspoon dried rosemary and oregano)
Two Bulbs fresh beetroot (peeled, use gloves!)
One sweet potato
Half butternut squash
One table spoon coconut oil
One small garlic clove
Two inches ginger root finely chopped
A pinch of chilli flakes (optional)
Preserved lemon or one lemon cut in quarters
Digestive spices, Fennel
Cracked black pepper, Himalayan or sea salt flakes
